My First Bash at film photography (Diana F+ 120mm)

Interesting colours and images. Some of these were taken on a shoot with WeAreDot, which was at Chester Race Course. The shoot was to be as part of a section for the 'Cheshire Life" magazine.

Cool.....my photography is on ITunes and Spotify!!

Following up from my last post, I was just browsing through music on ITunes the other day and came across my photography on R.I.O.'s single CD cover 'Narrow Roads'..........pretty chuffed with that haha!!! However the design isn't mine, just the image. I then checked Spotify on the off chance that it may be on there as well and it was........happy days!!!

MY FIRST PHOTO-SHOOT

This photo-shoot was on a November evening which turned out to be spontaneous, very exciting, unpredictable and rediculously COLD!!!!

I had intended on staying at the studio and working on the portfolio on this particular day which needed to be released to potential clients the following week, however it wasn't quite as straight forward as that............

I had been working on the portfolio in the nice warm office throughout the morning, quite glad that I didn't have to step foot in the 6 inches of snow that was continuously falling from the white sky. Just after dinner time we received a call from our photographer to let us know, that there was no way of him being able to make it in for work due to the snow, as he lived in the hills and it would be far too dangerous to walk to the train station, let alone drive.

This had left the WeAreDot team in a bit of a mess as they had a shoot in the afternoon. The snow had still not settled by the afternoon, and I said to my boss Dean,

"What are we going to do" he replied

"Well you have a camera don't you, you can do it" and to my shock I murmured

"eeerrrrmmmm yeah but..." and before I could finish he said "you'll be fine".

And so here are the results..............

All About Manchester (Magazine) with WeAreDot (October)

This shoot was located in one of the executive rooms in the Mal Maison Hotel in Manchester. This day was a great success in regards to the shots that we got, as you can see I have tried to document it as best as I can, but with six people in one hotel room that is advertised for two people, it proved a little difficult.

Louis Malloy Shoot with WeAreDot (October)

My second photo-shoot was a Louis Malloy shoot another up and coming clothing brand and very talented tattoo artist, with the designs, designed by Louis Malloy. It was a good day to shoot with clear skies and the sun shining, Darren got some great shots and I got some great shots of Darrens great shots haha.
